Rosie is the owner of The Freckled Press. She is passionate about making reading accessible to everyone. She can’t seem to pick a favorite genre, but tends to read thrillers, romance, and romantasy. A few of her favorite books are Spark of the Everflame, Daisy Darker, and anything by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. When she isn’t at the store, she’s hanging out with her family, adorable dog, and chickens.

Ashley has worked with Rosie at the Freckled Press since it’s beginning idea stage. She currently works remotely from Ohio (booo), but she is the driving force behind our book clubs. She creates paper craft cards and handsewn felt goodies (@feltlikeplaying). Her favorite genre is romance. The authors she auto-buys are Emily Henry and Ali Hazelwood.

Sophie is an illustrator by trade and creates wonderful illustrations and designs for local businesses (including the Freckled Press). Rosie convinced her to start working at the store when it opened in 2023. She loves romance and romantasy. When she isn’t busy reading or creating, she’s playing with her two aussies, Ted and Junie. She’s also Rosie’s youngest sister who LOVES seeing her big sister at work.

Brooke started working at The Freckled Press in 2025. She is also Rosie’s younger sister. When she isn’t working at the shop, she caring for her beautiful baby, rabbit, and dog (and whichever new foster pet needs a home). She loves self-help and romance books

Charlee joined the team when The Freckled Press opened in 2023 and is currently studying at Greenville University to become an elementary teacher! She enjoys doing photoshoots and getting coffee with friends! Stop in the shop sometime and she will make you a delicious lotus drink! She enjoys romance and even a little romantasy!

Rebecca has been talking books with us since the beginning, but started working at The Freckled Press in 2024. She does so much more than read books. She owns Leaf and Cord where she create macrame plant hangers and accessories. Rebecca also works at Evergreen Plant & Coffee Co. Her favorite genres are romance and romantasy. The series Throne of Glass is her favorite.

Megan started working at The Freckled Press in 2024. She and Rosie met through their kids’ school and Rosie’s be convincing her to do crazy thing ever sense. She loves romance. Sarah Adams, Carley Fortune, Abby Jimenez are some of her favorites

Jesi is a realtor by trade (and still is!) but started working at The Freckled Press in 2025. She and Rosie met through thriller book club! She loves a good crime solver with “didn't see that coming” twists.

Mollie Kate started working at The Freckled Press in 2024. She reads a variety of genres but LOVES music and loves seeing what new records come into the shop.
